EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
The 112th Annual Western Section meeting in Altoona, Iowa will feature educational presentations as follows:
Introduction of the NEW
2017 National Electrical Code
The meeting will be one of your first opportunities to view the 2017 National Electrical Code. The bulk of the meeting will be used for presentation of the IAEI Analysis of Changes 2017 and will include a $75 copy of the Analysis. Presenters will be members of Code Making Panels offering you the opportunity to learn from the individuals who wrote the Code.
Code Panel Members Answering Your Questions
Other programs will include the ever popular 
Code Panels, where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of nationally recognized experts. The pre-printed questions and answers by the code panel members are always a very popular program that receives great reviews.
ELECTRICAL ENERGY STORAGE
There will also be a presentation on Energy Storage. This presentation will demonstrate the latest innovations for electrical energy storage.
All presentations will aid the inspector, as well as the installer, in accomplishing safe, compliant installations. A total of 17 hours of educational credit will be earned. (1.7 CEU’s)
